What I talk about

The designer as orchestrator
How the job changes when the person designing coordinates systems and AI agents instead of drawing screens. This is the topic I work on most right now.
Design as transformation
OPUS, my four-stage model (nigredo, albedo, citrinitas, rubedo) for reading any change process, from an opaque problem to everyday practice.
Creative communities
What building WUDRome and DesignDinner taught me about getting people to come back.

Formats

**Keynote** 30-60 minutes, for conferences and event openings. **Lecture** 90 minutes plus Q&A, for universities and master programmes. **Interactive talk** 45 minutes plus a short workshop, for company teams and retreats.

Where I have spoken

At Sapienza University of Rome, for *Design Beyond Experience*, to around 200 communication design students, where I presented OPUS. At IntelligentIA in Rome, on designers and AI, to practitioners and decision makers. At WUDRome, the Rome edition of World Usability Day, which I organise. I also host DESaiN, a podcast on AI and design.

What the stage taught me

The hardest audience is the one that did not ask to be there: a team sent by its company, a class that has to attend. What works with them is rhythm, a long pause at the right moment, and a case that concerns them in the first two minutes. I do not always manage it, and when the room stays cold I can tell from the questions that never come.

FAQ

**Can the talk be adapted to my event?** Yes, every talk is built around the audience and the theme of the event. **Which language?** English or Italian.

Organising an event?

Tell me who will be in the room and what you want them to take home. We build the talk from there.
